假遠(yuǎn)期信用證（Usance Letter of Credit Payable at sight），又稱作 “買方遠(yuǎn)期信用證”。
是指買賣雙方在簽合同時規(guī)定，由進(jìn)口商負(fù)擔(dān)貼現(xiàn)利息和手續(xù)費，出口商（受益人）能即期收到全部貨款的一種信用證。
假遠(yuǎn)期信用證的特點是，匯票為遠(yuǎn)期，卻按即期付款；付款銀行同意即期付款，貼現(xiàn)費用由進(jìn)口商承擔(dān)。
換言之，出口商開立遠(yuǎn)期匯票，但信用證明文規(guī)定按即期收匯。
假遠(yuǎn)期信用證實質(zhì)是開證行或付款行對進(jìn)口商提供了融通資金的便利，一般來說所需支付的利息由進(jìn)口商承擔(dān)。
1.證內(nèi)規(guī)定遠(yuǎn)期匯票即期付款，同時表明貼現(xiàn)費用等其他費用由誰負(fù)擔(dān)。
